We visited Another Broken Egg on Zaragoza on Wednesday, July 1 as part of my wife's birthday celebration. We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant really busy. When we arrived, we checked in at the counter, they took my phone number and said they would text when our table was ready. About 20 minutes later we received our text and were seated. Our server was a pleasant young man named Jose. It felt like he was new, but, he did answer all of our questions about the menu, was attentive and overall did an excellent job. I had the White Chocolate Raspberry Pancake Special with scrambled eggs and a sausage patty. She had the Southern Breakfast Bowl which was Scrambled Eggs, Grits, a Biscuit, Gravy, Grits and two large pieces of Crispy Bacon all served in a large bowl. We both loved our food. The pancakes were loaded with flavor as the Raspberry really shined. The sausage patty was a maple sausage and again just amazing flavor. Dissecting her food, the bacon was thick and crisp and as is the theme packed with flavor. The biscuit had great texture and was one of the better ones we've tried. Sausage gravy was thick and like everything else, had nice flavor and it elevated the eggs. I'm not really into grits but she liked them very much. We each had a drink. She had the 11oz Blueberry Lemon Mimosa. This was a shot of Lemon Vodka over Blueberry puree and then filled with Champagne. This was a decadent cocktail which my wife thought was perfect. I had the Special Peach Raspberry Palmer. Basically a non alcoholic peach iced tea, raspberry lemonade Arnold Palmer. It was a a nice Palmer and as with my wife's cocktail, Christian at the bar prepared it well. That said, $8 for a drink I cant refill is probably a hard pass for next time. We did have one issue, I will not get into specifics but will say it was quickly resolved by a manager and did not negatively impact our experience. The check came in at $60 and I felt it was right in line considering the quality of the food, the fact she had a cocktail and I had a specialty drink. We will definitely return and highly recommend Another Broken Egg
